Appalachian State University Mountaineers Men’s Basketball Camp

Come and join the Appalachian State University Mountaineers Men’s Basketball Camp from the 17th of June until the 20th of June. This four-day all-skills basketball camp is open to all boys 7 to 18 years of age at any skill level. Check-in starts at 8:00 AM on Day 1 while the camp will end at 12:00 PM on Day 4. Moreover, this event emphasizes on developing dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, offense, and defense skills. There will also be competitive games and an awarding ceremony. Furthermore, this basketball training program is going to take place at the scenic Appalachian State University campus. The camp registration fee is $200 per camper. This registration fee includes lunch and a camp t-shirt. Available camper spots are limited so registration is on a first come first served basis.

Running this four-day basketball camp is the Appalachian State University Mountaineers men’s basketball coaching staff. Current Mountaineer men’s basketball players are also in attendance to help facilitate the event. All camp instructions and groupings are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level.

Appalachian State University Mountaineers Men’s Basketball Camp Organizers

Leading the Appalachian State University Mountaineers men’s basketball team is Head Coach Dustin Kerns, a native of Kingsport, Tennessee. The 2019-20 season will be his inaugural season at the helm of the Mountaineers men’s basketball program. Coach Dustin Kerns is a bachelor’s degree secondary education graduate from Clemson University. Prior to his head coaching role at Appalachian State, Coach Dustin Kerns was Presbyterian College’s men’s basketball head coach. He also has assistant coaching stints at Wofford and Santa Clara. Coach Dustin Kerns was part of the Wofford Terriers’ back-to-back Southern Conference Tournament titles and NCAA appearances back in the 2014 and the 2015 seasons.

Then, the Appalachian State University Mountaineers men’s basketball Patrick Moynihan, Bob Szorc, and Frank Young. Jason Alison is the Special Assistant to the Head Coach and Bradley Fey is the Director of Basketball Operations.
