The Sacramento State University Hornets Women’s Basketball Elite Camp is a single-day event that will fall on the 12th of August. It is set to start at 11:30 AM. This basketball elite camp is open to all girls in high school who are aspiring to become a college basketball student-athlete. The training program will focus on developing the players individual and team skills. There will also be competitive games that will allow exceptional players to showcase their skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. In addition, this advanced level basketball training program is going to take place at the state of the art Yosemite Hall (The Nest) which is on the Sacramento State University campus. The camp registration fee which includes a Sacramento State Hornets camp t-shirt is $50 per player. Please note that meals are not included. Registration is first come first serve.
Furthermore, running this high-level basketball training program is an initiative of the Sacramento State University Hornets women’s basketball coaching staff. All instructions are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level.

Sacramento State University Hornets Women’s Basketball Elite Camp Organizers
The Head Coach of the Sacramento State University Hornets women’s basketball team is Bunky Harkleroad. He is now entering his seventh season at the helm of the Sacramento State Hornets women’s basketball program. Coach Bunky Harkleroad is a bachelor of arts degree in history graduate from Berea College. Then, he earned his master’s degree in sports administration at the United States Sports Academy. Coach Bunky Harkleroad is the 2014 Spalding Maggie Dixon Division I Rookie Coach of the Year. He is also the 2013 WVIAC Coach of the Year and 2012 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Region Coach of the Year.
