University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Women’s Basketball Fundamental Camp

The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Women’s Basketball Fundamental Camp is a two-day event that will fall on the 26th and 27th of June. It is inviting all girls in grade 3 up to grade 12 at any skill level. This basketball camp gears on developing the fundamentals of the participants through the use of drills, games, and competitions in a fun atmosphere. It will focus in improving the player’s shooting, passing, rebounding, and ball handling skills. Moreover, this basketball fundamental camp will take place at the state of the art Williams Arena which is on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. The camp is set to run daily from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM. The camp registration fee is $275 per player. This registration fee includes a Golden Gophers basketball camp t-shirt. Available camper spots are limited so registration is first come first serve.

In addition, this basketball fundamental camp will be under the direction of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers women’s basketball players and coaching staff. An athletic trainer is also in attendance all through the duration of the event.

University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Women’s Basketball Fundamental Camp Organizers

Leading the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers women’s basketball team is Head Coach Lindsay Whalen. She is now entering her second season at the helm of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers women’s basketball program. Coach Lindsay Whalen is a former Women’s National Basketball Player  (WNBA) who just retired in 2018. She played for the Minnesota Lynx. She also played for Team USA which won the World Championships in 2010 and 2014 and won the Olympic gold medals in 2012 and 2016.
