Augustana College Vikings Men’s Basketball Day Camp

The Augustana College Vikings Men’s Basketball Day Camp is inviting all boys entering grade 7 up to grade 11 at any skill level who are serious about improving their basketball skills. It is a four-day training program that will run from the 24th of June until the 27th of June. This basketball camp will focus on developing positional skills. There will be scrimmages and 3-point shooting drills. The training program is also designed to build relationships and character. Moreover, this four-day  basketball training program is going to take place at the state of the art Carver PE Center which is on the Augustana College campus. The camp registration fee which includes an Augustana Vikings camp t-shirt is $175 per player. Available camper spots are limited so registration is first come first serve.

In addition, this basketball camp will be under the direction of the Augustana College Vikings men’s basketball coaching staff. Current university men’s basketball players are also in attendance to help facilitate the event. Overall, this camp will be a fun but challenging experience.

  • Basketball shoes, tennis shoes, several pairs of shorts, T-shirts, socks, and supporters for practices.

About Augustana College

Augustana College, originally Augustana College and Theological Seminary, is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college in Rock Island, Illinois. Its founder is the Augustana Evangelical Lutheran Church, formerly Augustana Lutheran Synod. Augustana College is an affiliation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Augustana College Vikings Men’s Basketball Day Camp Organizers

The Head Coach of the Augustana College Vikings men’s basketball team is Grey Giovanine. He is now entering his astounding 21st season at the helm of the Augustana Vikings men’s basketball program. Coach Grey Giovanine is a bachelor’s degree in psychology graduate from Central Missouri State University. He is also an associate degree graduate from Highland Community College. Additionally, Coach Giovanine is the 2015 and the 2019 Basketball Times National Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2017 D3hoops.com National Coach of the Year and the 2011 D3hoops.com’s Midwest Region Coach of the Year.
