The Bates College Bobcats Men’s Basketball Summer Camp is a venue to advance basketball skills and knowledge through a fun training environment. It is a four-day event that will run from the 24th of June until the 27th of June. The camp’s daily schedule is set to start at 9:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. Furthermore, this basketball training program is open to both boys and girls in grade 1 up to grade 8 at any skill level. It is going to take place at the Bates College Alumni Gym, a state of the basketball facility. Moreover, this basketball camp will cover dribbling, passing, and shooting drills. There will also be competitive games. It will focus on developing positive attitude and sportsmanship. Registration cost which includes lunch and a camp t-shirt is $225 per player. Registration is first come first serve.
In addition, this basketball summer camp will be under the supervision of the Bates College Bobcats men’s basketball coaching staff. All camp instructions and groupings are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level.

Bates College Bobcats Men’s Basketball Summer Camp Organizers
Leading the Bates College Bobcats men’s basketball team is Head Coach Jon Furbush, a native of South Portland, Maine. Coach Jon Furbush is now in his 11th season at the helm of the Bobcats men’s basketball program. He is a bachelor’s degree in American cultural studies graduate from Bates College. Then, he earned his masters degree in Athletic Administration and Coaching from Concordia University Irvine. Ultimately, Coach Jon Furbush is the 2012-15 Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches and Writers Association Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led the Bobcats to their first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
The Bates Bobcats assistant basketball coach is Sam Leal. He is a bachelor’s degree graduate from University of Maine at Farmington and a Master of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology graduate from Springfield College.
