Bowdoin College Polar Bears Men’s Basketball Day Camp

The Bowdoin College Polar Bears Men’s Basketball Day Camp is open to all and any boys in grade 3 up to grade 9 at any skill level. It is a five-day basketball training program that is set to run from the 24th of June until the 28th of June. It is going to take place at the Morrell Gymnasium, a state of the art basketball facility which is located on the Bowdoin College campus. Moreover, this basketball camp will cover instructional stations, team plays, games, and competitions. The camp registration cost which includes a camp t-shirt and evaluation is $250 per player. Registration is first come first serve.

In addition, running this basketball day camp is the Bowdoin College Polar Bears men’s basketball coaching staff. Parents and family members are welcome to visit all through the duration of the event. Overall, it will be a fun and challenging experience.

Bowdoin College Polar Bears Men’s Basketball Day Camp Organizers

Leading the Bowdoin College Polar Bears men’s basketball team is Head Coach Tim Gilbride. The 2018-19 season will be his 34th season at the reins of the Polar Bears men’s basketball program. Coach Tim Gilbride has led the Polar Bears into four NCAA Tournament appearances. Moreover. Coach Gilbride is the recipient of both the 2007-08 NESCAC and New England Division III Coach of the Year awards. It was also the same year he led the team to a 22-7 record. Coach Gilbride was also a former soccer coach and was the only coach in NCAA to lead both a men’s soccer and a men’s basketball team to the NCAA tournament.
