California Polytechnic State University Mustangs Men’s Basketball Camp

Join the California Polytechnic State University Mustangs Men’s Basketball Camp. It will be providing the players a fun but challenging training atmosphere. It includes drills and instructions that will focus on developing the player’s shooting, ball handling, footwork, and passing skills. Moreover, this basketball camp is open to both boys and girls in grade 1 up to grade 6. It is a three-day event that will run from the the 17th of July until the 19th of July. The camp’s daily schedule is set to start at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM. Moreover, this basketball camp is going to take place at the state of the art Mott Athletics Center which is on the California Polytechnic State University campus. The camp registration fee which includes a camp t-shirt is $200 per player. This program is offering a limited number of camper spots so registration is on a first come first serve basis.

Running this basketball camp is the California Polytechnic State University Mustangs men’s basketball coaching staff. All camp instructions and groupings are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level.

The Head Coach of the California Polytechnic State University Mustangs men’s basketball team is John Smith. The 2019-20 season is his inaugural season at the helm of the Mustangs men’s basketball program. Coach John Smith is a bachelor’s degree in psychology graduate from Dominican University. Then, he earned his master’s degree in kinesiology at Azusa Pacific University. Ultimately, Coach John Smith is the 2012-13 Orange Empire Coach of the Year. He is also the 2003 Foothill Conference Coach of the Year.  This award comes after he led the San Bernardino Valley College to a CCCAA championship.

The California Polytechnic State University Mustangs men’s basketball associate head coach is Rodney Tention. Finally, David Hanson and Justin Downer are the assistant coaches.
