Come and join the Christopher Newport University Captains Men’s Basketball Shooting Camp. It is set to run on June 17, June 19, and June 21 from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM each day. The training program will provide an opportunity to learn from one of the nation’s top collegiate basketball coaching staff. It is going to take place at the state of the art Freeman Center which is on the Christopher Newport University campus. In addition, this training program includes all beginner, intermediate, and advanced shooting concepts. It is open to all boys in grade 6 up to grade 12 who are looking to improve their shooting skills. The training camp costs $150 per camper.
Running this basketball elite camp is the Christopher Newport University Captains men’s basketball coaching staff. A certified athletic trainer will be in attendance all through the duration of the event. All camp instructions and groupings are in accordance with the player’s age and skill level. Overall, it will be a physically demanding but fun training atmosphere.

Christopher Newport University Captains Men’s Basketball Shooting Camp Organizers
Leading the Christopher Newport University Captains men’s basketball team is Head Coach John Krikorian, a native of Auburn, Massachusetts. He is now in his ninth season at the helm of the Captains men’s basketball program. Coach John Krikorian is a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering graduate from the University of Pennsylvania. Ultimately, Coach Krikorian is a four-time Capital Athletic Conference’s Coach of the Year. He is also the 2011-12 USA South Coach of the Year and the 2010 Landmark Conference Coach of the Year.
Completing the Captains men’s basketball coaching staff are assistant coaches Dominic Parker, Roland Ross, and Jeremy Brown. Coach Roland Ross is at the same time the team’s Athletic Outreach Program Coordinator.
