The Colby College Mules Women’s Basketball Elite Clinic is a single-day event that will run from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM on the 10th of August. It is inviting all female basketball players in grade 9 up to grade 12 who desire to play at the college level. This basketball training program will cover ball handling, balance, defense, dribbling, rebounding, passing and shooting skills development drills. There will also be competitive games and college admission discussion. A performance evaluation is also in-place for all the players at the conclusion of the event. In addition, the clinic registration fee is $50 per player. Available spots are limited so registration is on a first come first serve basis. This high-level basketball clinic is going to take place at the state of the art Harold Alfond Athletic Center which is on the Colby College campus.

Moreover, this elite basketball clinic will be under the supervision of the Colby College Mules women’s basketball coaching staff. All camp instructions and groupings are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level. Overall, it will be a physically demanding but fun basketball training environment.

Colby College Mules Women’s Basketball Elite Clinic Organizers
Leading the Colby College Mules women’s basketball team is Interim Head Coach Jamie Insel. Prior to the interim head coaching position, Coach Jamie Insel was the team’s assistant coach. In addition, Coach Jamie Insel is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Assumption College. During her college playing years, she helped Assumption College to three NCAA Division II Tournament appearances. Coach Insel also had an assistant coaching stint at MIT. She was part of MIT’s three New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament appearances. Coach Jamie Insel was also MIT’s former recruiting coordinator and the United Basketball (N.J.) AAU Program’s assistant coordinator.
