Come and join the Eastern Kentucky University Colonels Women’s Basketball Elite Camp. It is set to run from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM on the 2nd of August. This high-level and fast-paced basketball training program is open to all girls entering grade 8 up to grade 12 who are looking to become a college basketball student-athlete. This basketball elite camp will focus on fundamental basketball and overall player development. In addition, this training program is a venue to showcase exceptional basketball skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. This basketball elite camp is going to take place at Eastern Kentucky University’s Alumni Coliseum, a state of the art basketball facility. Running this basketball camp is the Eastern Kentucky University Colonels women’s basketball coaching staff. A certified athletic trainer is also in attendance all through the duration of the event. It will be a physically demanding but challenging basketball training experience.

Leading the Eastern Kentucky University Colonels women’s basketball coaching staff is Head Coach Samantha Williams, a native of Louisville, Kentucky. The 2019-20 season will be her inaugural season at the helm of the Eastern Kentucky University Colonels women’s basketball program. She is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Auburn University. Prior to her head coaching role at Eastern Kentucky, Coach Samantha Williams was the University of Louisville’s assistant women’s basketball coach.
The Eastern Kentucky University Colonels women’s basketball associate head coach is Matt Thune. He is a bachelor’s degree in psychology graduate from Indiana University. Coach Matt Thune then earned his master’s degree in sport administration at the University of Louisville
