Furman University Paladins Women’s Basketball Elite Camp

Join the Furman University Paladins Women’s Basketball Elite Camp. The training program focus on improving the player’s fundamental skills through advanced-level technical training sessions. The camp is also set to challenge their skills through competitive games. It is going to replicate a college training environment. In addition, this high-level basketball training program is open to all girls in grade 9 up to grade 12. It is designed for those who aspire to play at the college level. The program is a two-day event that will fall on the 16th and 17th of June. It is going to take place at the state of the art Timmons Arena which is on the Furman University campus. Furthermore, this training program is going to accommodate both residential and commuter campers. The registration fee for residential campers is $130 per player while the registration fee for commuter campers is $105 per player. This registration fee includes a camp t-shirt.

Moreover, this basketball elite camp will be under the supervision of the Furman University Paladins women’s basketball coaching staff. Available camper spots are limited thus registration is first come first serve.

About Furman University

Furman University Paladins Women’s Basketball Elite Camp Organizers

Leading the Furman University Paladins women’s basketball team is Head Coach Jackie Carson, a native of Woodbridge, Virginia. Coach Jackie Carson is now in her ninth season at the helm of the Paladins women’s basketball program. She is a Furman University alumnus with a degree in health and exercise science. Coach Carson was a college basketball standout player herself. As a matter of fact, she was the 1999 Edna Hartness Female Athlete of the Year. Coach Jackie Carson is also an inductee into Furman University’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

Completing the women’s basketball coaching staff are assistant coaches Pierre Curtis, Krista Beechy, and Ashley Williams. Coach Pierre Curtis is at the same time the team’s recruiting coordinator.
