Lyon College Scots Women’s Basketball One-Day Elite Camp

The Lyon College Scots Women’s Basketball One-Day Elite Camp focuses on maintaining a low camper to staff ratio to ensure personalized instruction for every player. It aims at improving the player’s shooting, dribbling, rebounding, and individual offense and defensive skills. Moreover, this basketball elite camp is going to run from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on the 31st of August. It is going to take place at the James C. Becknell Gymnasium and Scots Arena, both top-notch basketball facilities on the Lyon College campus. This basketball elite camp is inviting all girls in grade 8 up to grade 12 who desire to play at the college level. The registration fee is $50 per player. This registration fee includes a free camp basketball and camp t-shirt.

In addition, this basketball camp will be under the direction of the Lyon College Scots women’s basketball coaching staff. A certified athletic trainer is also in attendance all through the duration of the training program.

Lyon College Scots Women’s Basketball One-Day Elite Camp Organizers

The Head Coach of the Lyon College Scots women’s basketball team is Tracy Stewart-Lange, a native of Batesville, Arkansas. She is a Lyon College graduate with a degree in English and journalism. Coach Tracy Stewart-Lange then earned her master of education degree in sports administration at Mississippi State University. Coach Tracy Stewart-Lange is now in her 14th season at the helm of the Lyon Scots women’s basketball program. She is now holding an overall coaching win-loss record of 294-235.

Then, the Lyon College Scots women’s basketball assistant coach is Julie Church from Blytheville, Arkansas. Coach Julie Church is now in her 13th season with the coaching staff. She is a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics graduate from Lyon College. She then completed her master’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Central Arkansas.
