Mercer University Bears Women’s Basketball Elite Camp

The Mercer University Bears Women’s Basketball Elite Camp is going to be held on the 9th of June from 9 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Its venue is the state of the art Hawkins Arena which is on the Mercer University campus. This basketball elite camp is inviting all high school aged girls who desire to play basketball at the college level. Furthermore, this basketball camp will individual skills development drills and competitions. There will also be competitive games and skill evaluation. In addition, the camp is only providing limited available camper spots, thus, registration is on a first come first served basis. The registration fee which includes lunch is $55 per player.

In addition, running this basketball elite camp is the Mercer University Bears women’s basketball coaching staff. All instructions are in accordance with the player’s age and skill level.

Mercer University Bears Women’s Basketball Elite Camp Organizers

Leading the Mercer University Bears women’s basketball team is Head Coach Susie Gardner. She is now in her ninth season at the helm of the Mercer Bears women’s basketball program. Coach Susie Gardner is a bachelor’s degree graduate from the University of Georgia. It is also where she earned her master’s degree. Ultimately, Coach Susie Gardner is a two-time SoCon Coach of the Year. She is also the 2003 OVC Coach of the Year. She has led the Bears women’s basketball to four SoCon Regular Season Championships (2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019), and two SoCon Tournament Championships (2018 & 2019).

Then, the Mercer University Bears women’s basketball assistant coaches are Ben Wierzba, Kaitlyn Cresencia, and Sydni Means. Coach Kaitlyn Cresencia is at the same time working as the team’s recruiting coordinator. Drew Landers is the Director of Player Personnel.
