The Northeastern State University Riverhawks Men’s Basketball Elite Camp is a single-day basketball event that will run from 9:30 AM until 5:00 PM on the 15th of June. It is open to all high school male basketball players who aspire to become a college basketball student-athlete. Those in junior college are also eligible to register. This elite basketball camp is going to take place at the beautiful Northeastern State University campus in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The training program will cover individual and team skill development workout, conditioning, and film showing. It is the ideal venue to showcase outstanding basketball skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. Furthermore, the camp registration cost is $80 per player. This registration cost includes a Northeastern State Riverhawks camp t-shirt and lunch. Registration is first come first serve.
Running this basketball elite camp is the Northeastern State University Riverhawks men’s basketball coaching staff. The training program will allow the participants to experience a real college-level training environment. A certified athletic trainer is also in attendance all through the duration of the event. Overall, it will be a physically demanding but fun training environment.

About Northeastern State University
Northeastern State University, formerly Northeastern State College, is a public, coeducational university in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. It is the first institution of higher learning in the state of Oklahoma. It also has additional campuses in Muskogee and Broken Arrow. Leading the Northeastern State University Riverhawks men’s basketball team is Head Coach Mark Downey. He is now in his second season at the helm of the Northeastern State University Riverhawks men’s basketball program. Coach Mark Downey is a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine graduate from the University of Charleston. Then, he earned his Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration at Marshall University. Ultimately, Coach Downey is the 2010 NABC South Region Coach of the Year. He is also the 2000 Region VI Coach of the Year.
Then, the Northeastern State Riverhawks men’s basketball assistant coach is Nathan Kennedy. He is now entering his third season with the coaching staff. Coach Nathan Kennedy is a Bachelor of Education degree in Physical Education graduate from Salem International University. He then earned his Masters of Arts in Teaching at the University of West Alabama.
