The Rutgers University Scarlet Knights Women’s Basketball Skills Academy will provide a venue for girls to develop their skills that will help them achieve their full basketball potential. This basketball academy is a single-day event that will run from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on the 15th of June. The event is also a venue for those who aspire to play at the college level to showcase their skills in front of the university’s coaching staff. This basketball skills academy is open to all girls in grade 7 up to grade 9 at any skill level. Furthermore, this single-day event is going to take place at Rutgers University’s Athletic Centre, a leading-edge basketball facility. The camp registration cost which includes an Adidas basketball camp t-shirt is $80 per player. This program is offering a limited number of camper spots so registration is on a first come first serve basis.
Moreover, this basketball skills academy will be under the direction of the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights women’s basketball coaching staff. All training instructions and groupings are in accordance with the player’s age and skill level.

The Head Coach of the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights women’s basketball team is C. Vivian Stringer, a native of Edenborn, Pennsylvania. Coach C. Vivian Stringer is now entering her astounding 25th season at the helm of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights women’s basketball program. Ultimately, Coach C. Vivian Stringer is a multi coach of the year awardee and hall of fame inductee. Some of her coaching accolades are the 1993 Naismith National Coach of the Year, the 1982 Wade Trophy National Coach of the Year, and the 1993 Sports Illustrated Coach of the Year.
