Sacramento State University Hornets Men’s Basketball Elite Camp

The Sacramento State University Hornets Men’s Basketball Elite Camp is inviting all boys in high school who are interested to become a college basketball student-athlete. This high-level basketball training program will focus on developing the participant’s ball handling, shooting, rebounding, passing, and footwork. There will be competitive games that will allow outstanding players to showcase their basketball skills. In addition, this basketball elite camp will fall on the 11th of August at the state of the art Yosemite Hall (The Nest) which is on the Sacramento State University campus. The camp is set to start at 12:30 PM. Furthermore, the camp registration fee which includes a Sacramento State Hornets camp t-shirt and lunch is $35 per player. Available camper spots are limited so registration is first com first serve.

This basketball elite camp will be under the direction of the Sacramento State University Hornets men’s basketball coaching staff. Overall, it will be a physically demanding but fun basketball training environment.

Sacramento State University Hornets Men’s Basketball Elite Camp Organizers

Leading the Sacramento State University Hornets men’s basketball team is Head Coach Brian Katz, a Sacramento, California native. Coach Brian Katz is now in his 12th season at the helm of the Sacramento State University Hornets men’s basketball program. He is a Sacramento State graduate with a bachelor’s degree in English. Meanwhile, he earned his master’s degree in counseling psychology at Santa Clara. Additionally, Coach Katz is the 2015 National Mid-Major Coach of the Year, 2015 District 6 Coach of the Year, and 2015 Big Sky Conference co-Coach of the Year. He is also an inductee into the California Community College Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
