Come and join the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Cougars Women’s Basketball Elite Camp. It is a single-day advanced basketball training program that will fall on the 22nd of June at the scenic Southern Illinois University Edwardsville campus. This basketball elite camp is open to all girls in grade 9 up to grade 12. It is designed for the who are aspiring to become a college basketball student-athlete. Furthermore, this basketball training program will cover both the offensive and defensive facets of the game. It will provide exceptional players a venue to display their skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. Moreover, the program is offering a limited number of camper spots thus registration is on a first come first serve basis.
In addition, this basketball elite camp will be under the direction of the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Cougars women’s basketball coaching staff. It is going to be a physically demanding but fun basketball training experience.

Leading the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Cougars women’s basketball team is Head Coach Paula Buscher, a native of Peoria, Illinois. Coach Paula Buscher is now entering her eighth season at the helm of the Southern Illinois Cougars women’s basketball program. She is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Missouri State University. Then, Coach Paula Buscher earned her master’s degree in physical education with an emphasis in athletic administration at Illinois State University. Coach Paula Buscher is now holding a career coaching win-loss record of 95-91.
The Southern Illinois Cougars women’s basketball associate head coach is Todd Schultze. He is now in his second year with the coaching staff. Coach Todd Schultze is a bachelor’s degree in mathematics graduate from Ottawa University. He earned his master’s in education with an emphasis in biomechanics, sports administration, and sports psychology at the University of Kansas.
