University of Akron Zips Men’s Basketball Skills Camp

Come and join the University of Akron Zips Men’s Basketball Skills Camp. It is a three-day event that will run from the 10th of June until the 12th of June. This basketball camp is scheduled to run daily from 9:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. Its venue is the state of the art James A Rhodes Arena which is on the University of Akron campus. In addition, this basketball program will cover shooting and rebounding drills. It also includes team concepts and defensive concepts. The camp registration fee is $180 per player. This registration fee includes a free Akron Zips basketball. The training program is open to all boys in grade 1 up to grade 12 at any skill level.

Moreover, this basketball camp will be under the direction of the University of Akron Zips men’s basketball coaching staff. All instructions and groupings are in accordance with the player’s age and skill level.

University of Akron Zips Men’s Basketball Skills Camp Organizers

Leading the University of Akron Zips men’s basketball team is Head Coach John Groce. He is now entering his second season at the helm of the Akron Zips men’s basketball program. He is a bachelor’s degree in mathematics graduate from Taylor University. Prior to his head coaching role at Akron, Coach John Groce was Ohio University head men’s basketball coach. He is now holding an overall coaching win-loss record of 194-149.

Then, the University of Akron Zips men’s basketball associate head coach is Dustin Ford. Coach Dustin Ford is now in his 11th season with the coaching staff. Prior to Akron, Coach Dustin Ford was Western Carolina’s assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.
