The University of California Berkeley Golden Bears Women’s Basketball Camp is inviting all girls entering grade 7 up to grade 12 who are serious about improving their basketball skills. It is a single-day training program that will run from 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM on the 3rd of August. This basketball camp will focus on developing positional skills. There will be scrimmages and 3-point shooting drills. Moreover, this high-level basketball training program is going to take place at the state of the art Cal Berkeley’s Recreational Sports Facility. The camp registration fee which includes a Cal Berkeley camp t-shirt and prizes is $75 per player. Available camper spots are limited so registration is first come first serve.
In addition, this basketball camp will be under the direction of the University of California Berkeley Golden Bears women’s basketball coaching staff. Current Golden Bears women’s basketball players are also in attendance to help facilitate the event. Overall, this camp will be a fun but challenging experience.

University of California Berkeley Golden Bears Women’s Basketball Camp Organizers
The Head Coach of the University of California Berkeley Golden Bears women’s basketball team is Charmin Smith from St. Louis. The 2019-20 season will be her first season at the reins of the Golden Bears women’s basketball program. Coach Charmin Smith has completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering at Stanford University. Prior to her head coaching role at Cal, Coach Smith was the team’s assistant coach. She also has an assistant coaching stint with the New York Liberty of the WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association).
Completing the University of California Berkeley Golden Bears women’s basketball coaching staff are assistant coaches Kai Felton, Wendale Farrow, and April Phillips. Jill Culbertson is the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations.
