The University of Chicago Maroons Men’s Basketball Prospect Camp is a full-day training program on the 18th of May. It is open to all high school male basketball players who aspire to take their game to the college level. The event is going to take place at the state of the art Gerald Ratner Athletics Center which is on the University of Chicago campus. Furthermore, this whole day basketball prospect camp will introduce the participants to the collegiate training environment. There will be a campus tour, college recruitment and admission discussion, and games. The camp registration fee is $160 per player. This registration fee includes lunch and a free camp t-shirt.

In addition, this basketball prospect camp is an initiative of the University of Chicago Maroons men’s basketball coaching staff. The camp is only offering 60 available camper spots so registration is on a first come first served basis.

University of Chicago Maroons Men’s Basketball Prospect Camp Organizers
Leading the University of Chicago Maroons men’s basketball team is Head Coach Mike McGrath, a native of Bartlett, Illinois. Coach Mike McGrath is now entering his 20th season at the helm of the Maroons men’s basketball program. He is a bachelor’s degree graduate from DePauw University. Meanwhile, he earned his master’s degree in sports management at the United States Sports Academy. Ultimately, Coach McGrath is a three-time UAA Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a four-time Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) Coach of the Year and an inductee into the DePauw Athletics Hall of Fame.
Then, completing the University of Chicago Maroons men’s basketball coaching staff are assistant coaches Bryan Joel, Shiva Senthil, John Cheng, Brad Nadborne, and Rasheed Rosenje.
