The University of Iowa Hawkeyes Men’s Basketball Overnight Camp is inviting all boys 10 to 17 years of age at any skill level. This basketball training program is going to take place at the University of Iowa’s Field House, a state of the art basketball training facility. The training program will focus on developing the player’s shooting, passing, rebounding, and ball handling skills. It will also cover team plays. In addition, the camp will feature games and competitions that will allow outstanding players to showcase their skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. The training program is a four-day event that will run from the 16th of July until the 19th of July. It is going to accommodate both residential and commuter campers. Furthermore, the camp registration fee for overnight campers is $470 per player while the registration cost for commuter campers is $320 per player. This registration cost includes a NIKE Iowa Basketball t-shirt. Registration is first come first serve.
Moreover, this basketball overnight camp will be under the supervision of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes men’s basketball coaching staff. It is going to be a physically demanding but enjoyable experience. All instructions and groupings are in accordance with the player’s age and skill level.

Leading the University of Iowa Hawkeyes men’s basketball team is Head Coach Fran McCaffery, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics graduate from The Wharton School and a Masters of Education graduate at Lehigh University. Coach McCaffery is the 2009-10 NABC District I Coach of the Year and the 2009 MAAC Coach of the Year.
