The University of North Carolina at Wilmington Seahawks Women’s Basketball Elite Camp is set to run from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM on the 10th of August. It is going to take place at the state of the art Trask Coliseum which is on the University of North Carolina at Wilmington campus. This high-level and fast-paced basketball training program is open to all girls 13 to 18 years of age who dream to become a college basketball student-athlete. Moreover, the camp includes advanced practice drills, intense workouts, and team competitions. It will immerse the participants to a college level basketball environment. The camp registration fee is $75 per player. Registration is first come first serve.

University of North Carolina at Wilmington Seahawks Women’s Basketball Elite Camp Organizers
Leading the University of North Carolina at Wilmington Seahawks women’s basketball team is Head Coach Karen Barefoot, a native of Newport News, Virginia. Coach Karen Barefoot is now in her second season at the helm of the Seahawks women’s basketball program. She is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Christopher Newport University. Coach Karen Barefoot was a college basketball standout player herself. As a matter of fact, she is a two-time All-USA South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year awardee. She is now holding an overall coaching win-loss record of 325-255.
Completing the North Carolina at Wilmington Seahawks women’s basketball coaching staff are assistant coaches Tina Martin and Brittany Morris. Patti Raduens is the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations.
