University of Texas Longhorns Women’s Basketball Advanced Camp

Join the University of Texas Longhorns Women’s Basketball Advanced Camp. It is a single-day event that will run from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM on the 8th of June. During this training camp, the participants will refine fundamental basketball techniques and team concept understanding. In addition, this basketball advanced camp is open to all boys in grade 8 up to grade 12 at any skill level. It is especially for those who dream to play at the collegiate level. The training program is going to take place at the state of the art Cooley Pavilion which is on the University of Texas campus. The camp registration cost is $75 per player. This registration cost includes a free Texas Longhorns camp t-shirt. Registration is first come first serve.

Moreover, this basketball advanced camp will be under the supervision of the University of Texas Longhorns women’s basketball coaching staff. All the camp instructions and groupings are in accordance with the player’s age and skill level.

University of Texas Longhorns Women’s Basketball Advanced Camp Organizers

The Head Coach of the University of Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team is Karen Aston, a native of Benton, Arkansas. Coach Karen Aston is now entering her eighth season at the helm of the Texas Longhorns women’s basketball program. She is a bachelor of arts degree in physical education graduate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Additionally, Coach Karen Aston is the 2016-17 Big 12 Coach of the Year. She is also the 1993 Arkansas Girls Basketball Coach of the Year. Coach Karen Aston is an inductee into the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Trojan Athletics Hall of Fame and the Bryant [Ark.] High School Athletic Hall of Honor.

Then, the University of Texas Longhorns women’s basketball associate head coach is Jamie Carey. Coach Carey is a University of Texas graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. She is an inductee into the Horizon [Colo.] High School Hall of Fame.
