The University of Virginia Cavaliers Women’s Basketball Day Camp is for all 15 to 17 years old girls who are looking to develop their basketball skills through a fun training environment. It is a three-day event that will run from the 25th of June until the 27th of June. This basketball day camp is going to take place at the state of the art John Paul Jones Arena which is on the University of Virginia campus. Additionally, this basketball camp will focus on developing the player’s all-around basketball skills and mental approach to the game. The camp registration cost is $325 per player. This registration cost includes a Cavaliers camp t-shirt and a baller band. Registration is first come first serve.
Moreover, running this basketball day camp is the University of Virginia Cavaliers women’s basketball coaching staff. All the camp instructions and groupings are in accordance with the participant’s age and skill level. Please note that this is not an overnight camp.

University of Virginia Cavaliers Women’s Basketball Day Camp Organizers
Leading the University of Virginia Cavaliers women’s basketball team is Head Coach Tina Thompson, a native of Los Angeles, California. Coach Tina Thompson is a four-time WNBA champion, a member of the WNBA All-Decade team, and is WNBA’s all-time leading scorer. She is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist and an inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Additionally, Coach Tina Thompson is a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in psychology graduate from the University of Southern California. Coach Tina Thompson is now entering her second season at the helm of the University of Virginia Cavaliers women’s basketball program.
Completing the Virginia Cavaliers women’s basketball coaching staff are associate head coach Karleen Thompson and assistant coaches Walter Pitts and Monica Wright.
