Whitworth University Pirates Men’s Basketball Elite Camp

The Whitworth University Pirates Men’s Basketball Elite Camp is a two-day program that will run from the 10th of August until the 11th of August. First day will be a competition camp that will run from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM while the second day will be a shooting camp that will run from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. It is open to all boys in grade 9 up to grade 12 who are looking to be a college basketball athlete. Furthermore, this basketball elite camp will take place at the Whitworth University campus. The camp registration fee which includes Whitworth Basketball T-shirt, overnight lodging and meals is $180 per player. Participants may also opt to register camps individually for $65 per player.

In addition, this basketball elite camp will be under the supervision of the Whitworth University Pirates. Current Pirates basketball players are also in attendance to help facilitate the event. Certified athletic trainers are also available all through the event. Available camper spots are limited so registration is first come first served basis. Overall, it will be a competitive but fun basketball training experience.

About Whitworth University

Whitworth University, formerly Whitworth College, is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in Spokane, Washington. Its name is in honor of George Frederick Whitworth, a Presbyterian missionary, and its founder. Correspondingly, Whitworth University is an affiliation of the Presbyterian Church. In sports, the Whitworth University athletics men’s and women’s teams are playing in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, Northwest Conference. They are the Pirates or Bucs and their identity colors are crimson and black.

 

Whitworth University Pirates Men’s Basketball Elite Camp Organizers

Leading the Whitworth University Pirates men’s basketball team is Head Coach Damion Jablonski, a native of Polson, Montana. Coach Damion Jablonski is a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering graduate from Gonzaga University. He is now entering his ninth season at the helm of the Pirates men’s basketball program. Prior to his head coaching role, Coach Jablonski was an associate head coach. He was also a former engineer at Ford Motor Company.

Completing the Whitworth Pirates men’s basketball coaching staff are assistant coaches Kyle Hurst, Kenny Love, and Elijah Gurash. CJ Johnson is the team’s student assistant coach.
