Come and join the Whitworth University Pirates Women’s Basketball Elite Camp. This elite basketball camp is intended for experienced basketball players entering grades 8 through 12 who are interested in playing collegiate basketball. The training program is going to develop shooting, ball handling, and team skills. There will be competitions that will allow the players to showcase their skills. In addition, this basketball elite camp will run from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM on the 25th of August. This basketball elite camp is going to take place at the beautiful Whitworth University campus in Spokane, Washington. Moreover, the camp registration fee which includes a Whitworth Pirates camp t-shirt is $65 per player. Available camper spots are limited thus registration is on a first come first serve basis.
Running this basketball elite camp is the Whitworth University Pirates women’s basketball coaching staff. Current Whitworth women’s basketball players are also in attendance to help facilitate the program. It is going to be a fun but competitive basketball training experience.

About Whitworth University
Whitworth University, formerly Whitworth College, is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in Spokane, Washington. Its name is in honor of George Frederick Whitworth, a Presbyterian missionary, and its founder. Correspondingly, Whitworth University is an affiliation of the Presbyterian Church. Whitworth University Pirates Women’s Basketball Elite Camp Organizers
Leading the Whitworth University Pirates women’s basketball team is Head Coach Joial Griffith. She is now entering her second season at the helm of the Whitworth Pirates women’s basketball program. Coach Joial Griffith is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Concordia University in Irvine, California. It is also where she earned her master’s degree. Prior to Whitworth, Coach Griffith was the Williams Ephs women’s basketball head coach. She also had assistant coaching stints at Claremont-Scripps-Colleges, Canyon High School, and Mendocino College. In her first season, Coach Joial Griffith led the Pirates to a 13-12 win-loss record.
