Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers Women’s Basketball Elite Camp

Come and join the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers Women’s Basketball Elite Camp. It is a single-day event that will run from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM on the 25th of August. This advanced basketball training program is inviting all grade 8 to post graduate girls who aspire to become a college basketball student-athlete. The program is going to take place at Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Sports & Recreation Center, a leading-edge basketball training facility. In addition, this basketball elite camp includes individual skills work, 5v5 games, and lecture. It will provide exceptional basketball players an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the Engineers women’s basketball recruiting staff. The camp registration fee is $110 per player. This registration fee includes a Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers basketball camp t-shirt. The program is offering a limited number of camper spots so registration is on a first come first serve basis.

Furthermore, running this basketball training program is the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers women’s basketball coaching staff. It is going to be a physically demanding but fun training experience.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers Women’s Basketball Elite Camp Organizers

Leading the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers women’s basketball program is Head Coach Cherise Galasso. Coach Cherise Galasso is now entering her 19th season at the helm of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers women’s basketball program. She is at the same time the university’s Associate Athletic Director and SWA. Additionally, Coach Cherise Galasso is a bachelor of art’s degree in psychology graduate from the University of Rochester. She earned her Master’s degree in education at Nazareth College in Rochester. Ultimately, Coach Cherise Galasso is the recipient of the NEWBA Coach of the Year 2015-16 award. This award comes after she led the Worcester Lady Engineers women’s basketball team to their first ever NEWMAC Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship. She also led the team that year to a 24-5 win-loss record.
